Briefly On Liberty (2009)
I was the head of the Art Department as Production Designer for this senior thesis film by Nick Perlman in 2009. This existential drama highlighted characters over a vast socio-economic divide. I collaborated with Joe Taylor on the design and presentation of the gourmet food. This piece was a delight and a challenge to work on as we had to convey wealth and debauchery on a budget. The color scheme was chosen to convey subtle tones of red, white and blue to illustrate the theme of liberty. It was really exciting to work on a project that required so much detail as to consider the flower arrangements, silverware, plates and glassware.
