Development Intern
Ambush Entertainment is a small production company based in Los Angeles that creates film and television projects. I provided script coverage which entailed reading scripts and writing a synopsis, commentary, scaled evaluation, and a pass or consider recommendation.
The Tree of Life (2011), July 2008
Production Intern
The Tree of Life is a feature film directed by Terrence Malick and released in 2011. Winner of the Palme d'Or at the 2011 Cannes Film Festival. I performed various tasks as an intern during production. I organized, labeled, steamed, ironed, unpacked wardrobe shipments, and packed wardrobe for company moves while in the wardrobe department for about two weeks. Worked in the prop department for about two months involved in tasks such as research, aging props, painting, organizing, labeling, cleaning, packing props for company moves, and running errands to secure props. Worked in the office for about a week answering the phone and directing phone calls, running mail to and from set, and picking up and ordering lunch for the office crew. In the second camera unit I worked as a locations production assistant for about a month. The tasks I performed in this job required vigilance to lock down the set perimeter, taking out trash, and cleaning the location to put it back in its original state.
